Beliefs cease to be so Important

A Facebook commenter recently expressed that he was discovering his former Belief Projects were losing their attractiveness, that they’re just not so important anymore after developing a meditation technique.  I couldn’t help but comment:

I like that your comment shows you’ve given a lot of thought to how your beliefs have been developing.
Re: Conscious beliefs, ceasing to be quite so preoccupying –
I would say your beliefs of priority in regards to your beliefs of desire were changed in the meditative technique you’ve employed. One can do the same thing by changing their belief of desire or changing their perspective on the imminency of possession. Both are beliefs that can be changed by conscious decision followed with a change of focus.

Re: the “kick” or “punch” missing –
If I understand what you’re getting at, I believe that’s the emotional excitement that approaches ecstasy felt when we have two valued beliefs resonating at a high intensity of certainty.

1) Certainty you have discerned a preference toward something highly valued, and
2) Certainty of imminent possession (identifying it as part of Self).

Development of these beliefs are the domain of your conscious mind and intellect. If you develop them to the certainty of possession called expectancy, your inner-self brings them into reality’s experience.

A choice to NOT pursue development of either belief (desire or attachment) is the goal of many of Buddhist persuasion. If you’ve been suffering from loss or threat of loss in regards to something valued, denial is a welcome state while you recover and regain focus on the objective desired instead of the loss.

However, once you’re healed, if you recognize seeking and finding increase in terms of value fulfillment drive the creativity within all that is, then you’ll get your conscious mind and intellect working to discern your most valued preference and focus on developing your beliefs of possessional certainty called expectancy.

It really is that simple,
We need only – BelieveIt 2 RealizeIt
