New Study and Audio Recordings

I’m today starting a new page containing my personal recordings of materials currently under study. The first study that I will be tracking is a series of books by Jane Roberts and notes by Robert F. Butts, titled: “The Early Sessions”.

As I study, I’ll be posting related materials and making audio recordings of the materials I want to reconsider when I have free time. Long ago I recognized that memory was reinforced when material was studied using a technique of spaced repetition. Reviewing and re-listening to recordings of what we study helps us all remember what we learn.

I have been listening to audio materials when ever I’ve had a mind free from other attentions, for now nearly 30 years. I’ve only recently discovered how much value I receive from creating my own audio recordings of the materials I am studing as well as having them available to listen to when my mind is free but my physical body is working or driving.

I typically find time to listen to my recordings several times before I have opportunity to read and record another session.

I also notice I am getting better at reading and am finding a new depth, an almost personal involvement with Jane and Rob as I record my studies.

As with my writings, so with my recordings; they are created first of all for myself. I do realize however, they can be valuable to others. And so, it is with my most greatful appreciation to Jane and Robert that I share them freely.

The Early Sessions

The Early Sessions are just that. When Jane Roberts and Robert F. Butts first began exploring ESP, they recorded each of their sessions in anticipation of using their notes to create a book on ESP (which they did ultimately published in 1965 as: How to develop your ESP, followed “The Seth Material” in 1970) .

The early sessions provide an incredible opportunity for us to see behind the scenes of the earliest Seth materials and later Seth books. They add substantial authentication to those materials by independently collaborating the claims of Seth, Jane and Rob.

The Early Sessions where not originally intended for publication.  However, in 1998, years after Jane and Seth’s other books had created an interest, they were published in nine volumes. The early sessions started as journals created contemporarily with Jane and Roberts research. Through out their early exploratory sessions, Robert was making meticulous notes of all noticed details, recording his and Jane’s experiences as they investigated ESP and psychic phenomena.

Robert’s journal notes document the first encounter with Seth (a non-physical energy personality essence) and this first was followed by what became regularily scheduled sessions eventially numbering 510. The early sessions provide details of how Jane and Robert first met Seth and how they interacted with him up to the point during session 510 ,  Seth revealed he would begin dictating his own book (published 1972. Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul ).

My highest recommendation

If you’ve come to realize your beliefs provide the foundations that determine the quality of your life’s experience, then you will recognize: The Early Sessions are an invaluable resource for understanding the truth of your personal psychology. They provide a  rich basis for realizing beneficial change to beliefs that inhibit your experience, as well understanding those beliefs that release you to experience rich life fulfilling experiences you value.
