Reality is an Experience

We experience reality, indeed we create our reality through the daily interpretations of events perceived.

We perceive events and interpret them according to our earlier personal interpretations. Upon those earlier interpretations and “past experiences”,  CORE beliefs about “reality” were formed.

Upon those Core beliefs stand the interpretation of today’s events which in turn determines the quality of todays experience and ultimately affects our daily conclusions to: What is the reality we believe as truth and call our beliefs?

Undesired Experiences

When our experienced reality is NOT according to what we would like, we CAN do something about it.  We can identify the false premises which formed the beliefs affecting the interpretation of todays events.

When we understand the basic core beliefs that provided the perspective of todays experience, we are in a position to review and perhaps understand the perspective, view or belief dispositions that shaped them, and so on, back, and further back, until we identify the core disempowering limiting belief that started the threatened perspective.  (Note for accellerated discovery: Have you realized the foundation of every bad experience is the imagined reality of a threat?)

We can reshape our most basic core beliefs, if we understand how they were formed and recognize they are not in accord with our highest goals. We can replace them with empowering beliefs once we know our true nature and position within the perspective of God and all that is.

If we can identify and eliminate the undesirable core beliefs that shape todays perspective and tomorrows experience, we WILL see the world differently, and we will see a different world.

We all have basic core beliefs. Many of them are not even regarded as beliefs anymore, rather we regard them as the the very structure of reality that we operate within.
A core belief that: “this physical universe is everything and all we do or believe regards operating within it.” seems very strong in most people. But it is NOT as empowering as the many more empowering beliefs we could have chosen to believe and can decide we choose to believe today.

Replace the above with: I am part of “all that is” and “all that is” is so much more than what is physical.

Or maybe you’d prefer the biblical based beliefs: “The righteous walk or live by faith, not by sight”, or “For while we look not at the things that are seen, we look at the things that are not seen, for the things that are seen are only temporary while the things that are not seen are eternal”.

But more empowering still is: “With faith, nothing is impossible” or “What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive it and ye shall have it.” or “If you abide in me and my word abides in you, ask what you will and ye shall receive it”.

These latter are much more empowering to the individual. They offer far more opportunity for an abundant happy life. If we go back and identify the beliefs causing us to act in ways we would prefer we didn’t, we can replace them with more empowering beliefs and be set free.

      My Tease:

However, as I was writing in the last post, I was realizing there is a yet MORE fundamental core belief I am working to replace with a better belief. Successful in replacing that core belief, I am far more empowered. When I replace that limiting belief with the truth about our reality, I am truely set free to realize the grace that surpasses understanding (and my ability to describe). I hinted at the realization in my last post. Can you identify the more empowering belief that once obtained will powerfully change your experienced reality too? I’ll write about more of it in a future blog.

For now, Believe that you can receive or achieve what ever your mind can concieve. Believe it! Realize it!
