Forming Belief

We form our common beliefs about reality as soon as we begin to experience physical events with our bodies.  By  that I mean, we receive experiences triggered by the events sensed with our physical senses and recorded in our physical brain,

While I believe we brought many beliefs with us from our lives prior to birth, those have not been recorded in our new brains. We are soon so overwhelmed with physical stimulus, we forget all about our knowing; that knowing which goes beyond the brains memory. Soon we look at nothing else.  That is; early on we become so entrained by our participation in physical events that we give our attention to little else. We notice experience of little else not even that we some how know to do the magic things we do like walking and learning to use symbols in speech.

I speculate that everything we experience  we label as reality and our thoughts about those observations we consider beliefs true to reality.

At first, we are captivated trying to discern meanings from all the new things we are experiencing. As we determine those meanings, we assess value and we conclude our beliefs about our new expanded reality.  So little relates to our pre-physical experience that we all but forget our pre-physical experience and view of reality.  We usually do this before we have an ability to articulate any of our experiences with words.

Going forward, we never stop discovery of more about reality.  Yet, that reality is so physically focused, we soon have no vision of reality except that of the physical objects around us and how they appear to interact with one another and ourselves.

We never stop observing, comparing and evaluating . With each new discovery we make decisions;  How what we just experienced or learned agrees with all our observations and conclusions about reality.

We constantly form new beliefs and state those conclusions with certainty. So, why should any ideas like “we form our own reality” cause us such difficulty in forming them into beliefs?

We are told by credible sources that our reality follows our beliefs;  What we believe becomes physical real events triggering real expereinces true to reality.  Why is that so hard to believe?

We have learned how to deal with abstract ideas with all the ease of concrete thought. Abstract thought is not the problem.

We hear: Delight yourself in the Lord and he’ll give you the desires of your heart.

What is it that makes a difference when we consider a promise of faith vs the evening news report of trouble in Iran? We don’t truely see or physically participate in either physical event. Yet we accept the news even though we know they spin events for their own purposes.

I’d like to hear what you think.  I have recorded a thoughts on the subject. There is no conclusion, just thought.  However, I believe and have experienced that thoughts like these attract others like unto them.  I know that the laws of attraction apply to thoughts even though those thoughts are NOT physical. Our thinking is every bit a known experience we accept as true to reality. Why do we accept thinking as real? … we’ll continue this idea on a future post.

Believe you receive it and you will have it – Realize It!
